Presentation Tracks

1) Security: Protecting Systems, Networks and Information Assets in an Insecure Cyberworld

2) Academic and Research: Supporting the Academic Enterprise Through New (or Improved) Academic and Research Systems

3) Business and Finance: Supporting UC Administrative Operations in an Era of Process Re-Engineering

Within each track, presentations should focus on:

Best Practices

Best Practice sessions are designed to be somewhat less technical and therefore address support, budget, organizational, collaboration, and strategy issues.

Understanding the Technology

Understanding Technology sessions are designed to be technical (to very technical) and participants should expect to obtain specific guidelines / plans for implementing a particular technology or service.

Proposals for each track may be for individual or group presentations, or panel discussions

Presentation content should prove helpful, informative and applicable for those from any campus who attend the presentation.

Before submitting a presentation proposal, please consult with the UCCSC Ambassador from your campus (see: Campus Ambassadors). To submit a presentation proposal you may:

  1. Log on to the site via Member Login
  2. Once Logged in, click on Presentation Abstracts
  3. Complete the form under "Upload My Presentation Abstract"
  4. Click the "Upload for Review" button.

Or, you may simply:

Send your proposal (Word or PDF format preferred) to the UCCSC Campus Ambassador for your campus. S/He will send it on to the UCCSC 2005 program committee for review.
